Welcome to GLDGC Morning Leagues

This is an eight week league which plays at a different Milwaukee course each week. Prizes will be awarded and league points will be earned weekly to determine the league Champion. Players will receive a Handicap based on their play. Top players will win a trophy at the end of the league. Mulligans, an Ace Pool and CTP's all add to the fun.

League Format

  • Meet @ specified course at 8:30 AM; Tee off to follow
  • $6 entry fee with $1 going into the Ace Pool
  • One Mulligan may be purchased for $1 and must be used that week
  • A player's initial handicap will be equal to the league average and may be modified according to the player's ability
  • Handicaps will be calculated using each player’s cumulative score and posted each week
          [ Handicap = (Player’s Average Score – 54) * 0.7 ]
  • Points will be awarded each week depending on the player's modified score
  • Top player earns 25 Pts with each subsequent player earning one point less to a minimum of 5 Pts
  • A prize will be awarded to the top player each week (handicapped score)
  • The best 5 out of 8 weekly scores will determine the overall point leaders
  • Trophies will be given to the top players at the end of the league (points earned)
